Sound & Light Setup — Narva

The city edge throws challenges — old electrical panels that trip under load, stone halls that turn a vocal mic into an echo chamber, windows that pour daylight across a projector image at five in the afternoon. Narva venues are built for permanence, not flexibility, and the rig has to answer for what the room will not.

Sound and light setup here begins with the grid and the breaker box. Before a cable crosses the floor, the crew maps the power, tests the phase, and confirms the load the room will actually carry. The PA follows the ceiling height and wall material, not a rider copied from another city. What works in Tallinn often does not work here, and pretending otherwise is how an evening collapses in front of two hundred people.
