Event Coordination — Narva

The person who booked the venue leaves at five. The caterer's contract ends when the buffet closes. You are coordinating an event in a city four hours from the supplier you usually call, and the thing that goes wrong will go wrong at nine thirty in the evening when no one answers their phone.

That is the gap we work in. Not the plan — the plan is never the problem — but the hour when the plan meets a room that is colder than you thought, a delegate who needs something now, a supplier who did not bring the thing they said they would bring. We stay until the last person leaves, because that is when coordination stops being a checklist and becomes a job.
