Christmas Party — Kuressaare

The evening begins in daylight and ends in January. Guests arrive cold, leave later, and spend four hours in a room that has to carry conversation, dinner, speeches, and whatever follows. The room has to shift without anyone noticing the shift.

Kuressaare in December means short days and long evenings. Lighting has to warm the arrival, hold through dinner, and wake back up when the tables clear. Sound starts subtle and ends loud, and the transition is the part that usually fails. After 5 Events rigs the room so each phase follows the last without a drop or a gap.
