Staging & Decor — Tapa
Temporary staging and event decor in Tapa — built for rooms that were not designed as stages, rigged to stay stable.
The drape goes up eight metres, and if the base is not weighted properly it will tilt forward halfway through the speeches. The arch is fastened with cable ties that look temporary and are not, because a proper join takes four times as long and holds no better. The lectern goes stage left so the lead does not walk through the projection every time they gesture.
Staging in Tapa means working in rooms that were not designed to be stages. Everything is temporary, and the failure points are all mechanical: weight, wind, a floor that is not quite level. We rig for that.
Every production is built from the same toolkit — take one part of it or the whole evening.
