Product Launch — Sillamäe

A product launch in Sillamäe in January is a different proposition to the same event in June. Winter light dies by half past three, heating a hall large enough to matter costs more than the catering, and if the presentation relies on a projector the room has to be fully dark by two in the afternoon. Summer stretches the schedule but brings its own problems: glare on screens, venues without air handling, and the fact that nobody wants to sit inside when the Gulf of Finland is visible through the window.

The season sets the format. Build the event around what the room and the month will let you do, and the launch works. Fight either one and you spend the budget on a problem that should not exist.
